ARGEN Canada is a leading digital manufacturing and technology center, offering digital outsourcing, digital dental equipment, and materials to dental labs. Their Canadian headquarters is in beautiful Kelowna, BC, a national playground where you can ski, golf and sail on the same day. They also are developing a state of the art milling center in Ontario.

They are hiring a Technical Support Specialist to join one of their offices. While the customer service is done online and by phone, the collaboration, knowledge sharing, and fun happens together, so working remote is not an option.

However, if you like working in and with a team, and enjoy helping customers make sense of the software and design challenges, this job is for you.

Although every day is different, typical responsibilities will include:

  • Responding to customer inquiries, logging them and provide technical support to resolve their questions (80%),
  • Installing, upgrading, troubleshooting, testing, and debugging software and hardware and collaborating with vendors on bug fixes (20%).

Requirements

Argen is looking for someone who is self-motivated and works well in a collaborative team. Technical savvy is mandatory and finding someone who is capable of learning our technology is critical. Prior dental lab technician experience and knowledge of 3Shape or other dental CAD software are preferred. Experience in customer service or within IT support and troubleshooting are valuable as well, although not necessary for someone with the right combination of initiative, interpersonal skills, enthusiasm, flexibility, and resourcefulness.
