Locally owned and operated since 1976, Mearl’s Machine Works in Kelowna, BC is a large-scale machine shop and service expert in pumps, air compressors, drill rigs/supplies, bearings/power transmission products, fabrication/welding, and millwrighting services.

As an authorized distributor for high-quality Kaeser Compressors, renowned for their innovative and efficient compressed air solutions, they are dedicated to serving a diverse range of industries throughout the territory of South-Eastern British Columbia. To continue Mearl’s commitment to providing timely and quality service to their clients, they are seeking a highly organized and customer-oriented Service Coordinator to join their Compressor Department.

As a Compressor Service Coordinator, you will carry out the following responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients to receive service requests and parts inquiries, responding promptly and professionally with accurate information and updates.
  • Keep track of maintenance requirements, contact clients about annual servicing and provide service quotes.
  • Schedule service appointments, ensuring that parts, technicians, and equipment are allocated efficiently.
  • Manage parts inventory.
  • Arrange maintenance and repair of service vehicles and tools as required.
  • Ensure that all services are delivered in accordance with company standards, follow-up with clients for feedback and quality assurance.
  • Maintain accurate and organized service records and provide reports on service performance.
  • Address and resolve any issues or challenges that may arise during service delivery, ensuring minimal disruption to clients.

Requirements

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with prior experience from a fast-paced technical service environment and demonstrated skills to coordinate many moving parts. This role requires superior organization and communication skills as well as effective multitasking, prioritizing, and proficiency in using CRM/ERP software. Attention to detail and keeping calm under pressure are equally important. Experience with compressors and compressed air systems is welcome, but not required.
