The individual is expected to work 25 hours per week based out of our office on Windsor Road in Kelowna.

About the Role

As the HR Generalist, you are responsible for the HR functions including managing time off, recruitment, onboarding and offboarding, overseeing performance management processes, and updating policies, procedures and job descriptions. Using your excellent communication and organizational skills, you will work with management to keep projects on track and ensure effective company-wide communications.

You have experience as the knowledge expert for HR strategies and people management practices that promote attraction, retention and engagement. On the flipside, you are no stranger to jumping into behind-the-scenes work, like maintaining employee files, preparing letters and organizing team events and meetings. You are knowledgeable about legal and regulatory compliance; possess strong problem solving, conflict resolution and computer skills; and are proficient in the Microsoft Office and/or Google suites.

Although not a requirement, individuals with a bachelor’s degree (specializing in HR), CPHR Designation, and/or experience in a similar role in a warehouse/office environment is preferred.
