Certified Millwright

Job description

Seeking a Certified Millwright

Penticton Foundry is a place where innovation meets hard work and determination. While other foundries have fallen by the wayside, Penticton Foundry has continued to flourish in large part because of its high quality and desire to innovate as well as its talented people.

They are looking for red seal millwrights to provide leadership and problem solving on machinery and equipment repairs and upgrades as well as to be a resource and hands on support to the preventative maintenance team. The successful millwrights will be team-focused, safety oriented, highly proficient with hand tools, welding, and reading drawings, and motivated by the opportunity to constantly improve.

The Foundry is located in Penticton, the heart of the Okanagan and hub for an active outdoor lifestyle. They offer:

  • Competitive compensation package and incentive bonuses
  • Extended health and dental benefits
  • A learning environment and investments in people, where a craftsperson can become a master
  • Company events and a supportive team culture

Join Penticton Foundry, and you will be respected for your expertise and contributions. With both opportunities to work autonomously and in a team, you will also have a varied and diverse set of projects and activities to make the days fly by.

If you’d like to live, work and play in a community and company where after-work interests are as important as a career, Penticton and its Foundry may be for you.
